AUTUMN ACHIEVEMENTS
In its fall 2018 campaign the Rams used a handful of two-day invitationals to prep for championship season where it shined once again.

For the second straight season the Rams finished as the runner-up at the Empire 8 Championship where Aine Dillon and Brooke Chapman became the first-ever Suffolk student-athletes to garner a spot on the All-Empire 8 teams with a spot on the first and second team, respectively.

A week later, the team defended its NEIGA Championship title with ease at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts. The regional event, which is in its third year, has seen just three winners with Suffolk holding back-to-back titles.

For their efforts on the green, each of Suffolk's golfers earned All-NEIGA honors. Nicole Antonucci, Chapman, and McKenzie McGrath garnered the recognition for the second time in their careers, while Dillion and Sophia Koester picked up the nod for the first time.

Individually, Dillion became the first-ever Suffolk golfer – either male or female – to capture a regional tournament title. The junior from Yarmouth, Massachusetts, finished with a 176 to pace the 19-golfer field, which comprised of five different collegiate programs.

THE COURSE
The Valley Country Club was first built in 1925 as a nine-hole course before it was extended to 18 in 1964. The private 72 par course is filled with challenging views, picturesque fairways, 51 bunkers, and three water holes making for a very challenging experience.

THE COMPETITION
Suffolk will take the green against Rhode Island College to open up their spring slate. The Rams and Anchormen first teed off against one another in the Rams inaugural head-to-head match at the Valley Country Club on October 2, 2016. Rhode Island College bested Suffolk 424-504 in the previous match up.

WELCOME TO THE ROSTER
Over the off season, head coach Jay Parker has added a pair of student-athletes to his ranks in Tess Adams and Madison Scheinberg. The duo each skated on the inaugural Suffolk women's hockey team this winter before taking their talents to the greenway this spring.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk will be back on the course next Saturday, April 27, as it faces off in the Westfield Open at the Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Massachusetts.
