BOSTON – In the midst of a three-game homestand, the Suffolk women's basketball team welcomes Regis to Regan Gymnasium Tuesday, Jan. 22 for a 7 p.m. matchup.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team outlasted Johnson & Wales, 67-60, Saturday afternoon inside Regan Gymnasium to remain unbeaten in GNAC action.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk remains unbeaten in January and is currently on a four-game win streak. Overall, the Rams are 12-4 and undefeated in conference contests, 4-0. 

A trio of student-athletes provides double figures in points in Jenni-Rose DiCecco (16.7 ppg), Allie Lopes (12.0 ppg) and Alexis Hackett (11.7 ppg) to lead the Rams' 65.3 ppg offense. 

Hackett and DiCecco are also the top rebounds on the squad. The former hauls down 11.2 rpg, while the latter grabs 5.7 rpg to lead Suffolk's 40.0 rpg effort.

PRIDE POINTS
Regis has had an action packed January thus far with eight games already under its belts. The Pride head into Tuesday's tilt 6-11 overall and 2-3 in league action after defeating Lasell, 68-49 Saturday. 

Katryna Veasey is the only player averaging double digits in points with the junior forward producing 10.5 ppg. Sam D'Angelo and Valerie Martin add 9.5 ppg and 9.3 ppg, respectively, to the Pride's 56.5 ppg offense.

Regis' top scoring threats are also the leaders on the glass as Veasey (6.6 rpg), Martin (5.3 rpg) and D'Angelo (5.5 rpg) lead the 40.7 rpg effort. Arie Searcy (6.5 rpg) and Taylor Iorfino (5.3 rpg) add to the performance on the glass as well.

  • The Suffolk, Regis rivalry is one of the oldest in the Rams' record books, dating back to 1987.

Suffolk completes its three-game homestand Thursday, Jan. 24 when it entertains Anna Maria in a 5 p.m. contest, which precedes the Rams' men's 7 p.m. clash with Saint Joseph (Conn.).
