LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team overcame a 13-point third-quarter deficit to take down Regis, 75-71, Saturday afternoon in a GNAC thriller inside Regan Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk looks to lock up home court advantage for the quarterfinals of the 2018 GNAC tournament as the Rams currently sit one-game behind Johnson & Wales at 10-4 in league action and 17-6 overall.
The Rams 69.0 ppg offense continues to be propelled by the trio of Georgia Bourikas, Jenni-Rose DiCecco and Alexis Hackett. Bourikas is atop the team with 14.3 ppg, while DiCecco slides in second at 14.2 ppg. Hackett's 11.0 ppg rounds out the threesome.
Defensively, Suffolk is outrebounding its opponents by a 2.8 margin with the Rams pulling down 41.0 rpg. Hackett's team-high 10.5 rpg leads the way with Bourikas providing 6.3 rpg. Jordan Hipwell adds 6.3 rpg to the effort with DiCecco contributing 5.0 rpg.
RAIDERS REVIEW
Rivier (3-16, 2-12 GNAC) has made a late run in its season, winning back-to-back games for the first time last week with victories over Saint Joseph (Vt.), 74-61, and Anna Maria, 69-49.
The Raiders have struggled offensively, being held to just 51.2 ppg with Kaylee Kacavas providing nearly half of them as the junior guard leads the team with 22.3 ppg. Lizzy Meehan joins her classmate in double figures with 10.2 ppg.
Megan Hamel is the main ingredient to Rivier's 44.1 rpg with the junior forward grabbing 10.3 ppg. Kacavas adds 7.4 rpg with Meehan pitching in 7.1 rpg.
THE SERIES
Suffolk boasts a 22-5 all-time series lead over the Raiders with the Rams winning three straight games with Rivier including an 85-53 triumph last season.
EYES ON THE GAME
RECORD ROOKIE RECOGNITION
Jenni-Rose DiCecco already sealed up her spot in the Suffolk women's basketball record book as the freshman garnered her seventh GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week award, the league office announced Monday afternoon. The accolade comes after a 12.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 2.0 spg effort in a 1-1 week for the Rams.

BOURIKAS BREAKDOWN
Georgia Bourikas joined elite company Saturday afternoon. Her sixth rebound in the 75-71 thriller over Regis marked the senior's 500th career board, which made her the 10th Ram in Suffolk women's basketball history to record both 1000 points and 500 rebounds. She is the first player in blue-and-gold to accomplish the feat since Jennifer Ruys '14 did so in 2014.
Bourikas became the 14th player to join the 1,000 point club Feb. 1 and first Ram to knock down 1000 points since Iliana Quadri'14 in 2014.
The co-captain is currently on multiple scoring lists as she sits third in three-point field goals made (140) and ninth in free throws made (214). Fans can also find the Hull, Massachusetts native's name on the all-time assists list (8th; 208).

Suffolk concludes the regular season back in Boston Saturday, Feb. 17 with a battle with Saint Joseph (Conn.) Prior to the 1 p.m. tip-off, the Rams will honor their two graduating seniors, Georgia Bourikas and Alexandra Nagri.
