BOSTON – Riding an eight-game win streak, the Suffolk women's basketball team returns to Regan Gymnasium Saturday, Jan. 13 for a 1 p.m. battle with GNAC foe Albertus Magnus.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team ran past Anna Maria, 69-33, Thursday night at Fuller Gymnasium to stretch its win streak to eight straight.

RAMS RUNDOWN
With its eighth consecutive victory, Suffolk improves to 10-2 on the year and 3-0 in GNAC action. 

Suffolk is currently putting together the third-best offense in the league with 72.3 ppg thanks to the eighth highest individual output in Jenni-Rose DiCecco's 15.8 ppg. Georgia Bourikas, who is second on the squad, rounds out the conference's top 10 scorers with 14.9 ppg.  

Alexis Hackett, who is also a threat on the offensive end, averaging 9.3 ppg, is a force on the boards, pulling down a team-high 11.7 rpg, which sits third in the league. Jordan Hipwell chips in on both ends of the hardwood with 8.2 ppg and 6.2 rpg. As a team, Suffolk brings down the second-most rebounds per game at 43.8 ppg and holds the largest rebound margin, outrebound its opponents by 8.3.

FALCONS FACTS
Albertus Magnus rides a six-game win streak into Saturday that put the Falcons at 9-3 on the year and 3-1 in league play. The Falcons lone setback in conference action game to Regis, 75-58, Dec. 2. 

The Falcons own the best offense and defense in the league with 76.5 ppg and 48.3 ppg. Olivia Bolden is the main ingredient as to why with the senior leading the way in both categories on the team and the coference with 22.5 ppg and 14.3 rpg to her credit. Jill Johnson is also a double digit contributor offensively with 17.8 ppg, good for sixth in the league.

THE SERIES
Suffolk has been on a roll versus Albertus Magnus as of late, winning eight straight to hold a 15-7 all-time series lead over the Falcons.

EYES ON THE GAME

BEST YET
Suffolk sealed the best start in the program's 35-year history at 8-2 with its 74-67 win over Emerson Dec. 12. Now at 10-2, the Rams continue to keep up the history setting ways.

STREAKING
The Rams have rattled off eight consecutive wins. The win streak marks the longest for the blue-and-gold since matching that number to open second semester a year ago in 2017.

RECORD WATCH
Georgia Bourikas looks to stamp her name in the Rams' record book this season. The senior is just 100 points shy of the coveted 1,000-point milestone. The guard from Hull, Massachusetts, also looks to move her current fourth-place standing on the all-time treys made list with 126 up, while she also has the chance to seal up spots on the all-time assists (181) and blocks (29) list.

Suffolk women's hoop will take part in the third Rams' basketball doubleheader of the season Thursday, Jan. 18 when the women's team entertains Norwich at 5 p.m., followed by the men's team hosting Emmanuel at 7:00 p.m.
