BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team continues its home stretch and GNAC slate Wednesday, Dec. 6 as the Rams welcome Johnson & Wales to Regan Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.

DOUBLE DIP
For the second time this season, Suffolk's basketball teams will partake in a double header. The men's squad gets the action going at 5 p.m. versus Norwich with the women's team taking the Larry E. Smith & Michael S. Smith Court against Johnson & Wales against 7:15 p.m. 

LAST TIME OUT
In its home opener, the Suffolk women's basketball team suffered a 61-50 setback as Framingham State kept its unbeaten streak in tact Saturday afternoon inside Regan Gymnasium.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk is on a two-game skid that put the Rams at 3-4 overall and 0-1 in GNAC play. 

The Rams' 67.1 ppg offense is headlined by senior Georgia Bourikas' 11.3 ppg. Classmate Kelsey Schiebel adds 9.4 ppg, while junior Alexandra Nagri chips in 9.3 ppg. 

Caitlyn Caramello and Katelyn Rourke lead Suffolk on the defensive end with 7.6 rpg and 7.4 rpg, respectively. 

WILDCAT WAYS
Johnson & Wales dipped to 4-3 following a 44-37 setback to Brandeis. The Wildcats will open their conference competition in Boston Wednesday. 

Ashley Thompson's 16.0 ppg leads the way for JWU's 55.6 ppg offense. Raquel Pederzani also averages double digit points with 12.7 ppg. 

Bobbie Whitehead paces the Wildcats on the defensive end with 9.0 rpg. Thompson adds 6.9 rpg to the effort with Ally Mishol contributing 5.3 rpg. 

THE SERIES
Suffolk and Johnson & Wales have met 22 times since 1996 with the Rams leading the all-time series, 15-7. The Wildcats have picked up the last three meetings with the Rams last win coming in double overtime at JWU Feb. 8, 2013, 61-57.

The GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week for the past two weeks has donned a Suffolk uniform as Alexis Hackett earned the honor Nov. 28 and Katelyn Rourke received the nod Dec. 5.
