BOSTON – Following a 12-point and nine-rebound semifinal round performance, Suffolk women's basketball junior Alexandra Clarke was named to the 2016 GNAC All-Tournament Team, the league announced Saturday afternoon.
Clarke's 12-point showing was the second highest point total she netted all season following a 13-point performance in the regular season finale against Mt. Ida.
Six of her game-high nine rebounds came in the first half of Thursday night's semifinal game as the Rams battled the Monks of St. Joseph's College for control of the lead.
The 6-foot-1 forward also brought down four boards in Tuesday's quarterfinal victory over Norwich as Suffolk topped the Cadets 55-51.
Clarke finished the 2016 season shooting 40.4 percent from the floor, while averaging 5.3 rebounds per game.
