BOSTON – Chelsea Campellone of the Suffolk women's basketball team added more hardware to her growing college Monday afternoon as she was named Co-GNAC Corvias Player of the Week after averaging 24.5 ppg and 14.0 rpg in a 2-0 week for the Rams. Campellone shares the weekly accolade with Saint Joseph's (Conn.) Kayla Guest.

Campellone scored 27 points in a comeback victory in the week's opener versus Rivier February 9. She pulled down 15 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the year.

Four days later, the 5-foot-8 forward recorded her 11th double-double of the year to help Suffolk defeat Albertus Magnus, 104-99, in overtime. Campellone contributed 22 points to Suffolk's record setting offensive outpour of 104 points. She shot 8-of-20 from the field and 6-of-10 from the line in her fifth 20-plus point game of the season.
