HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk scored first as Ally Cifaratta collected an RBI in the top of the first with a double to right center. The third baseman scored Maddi Southers, who led off with a walk.

Jefferson took the lead in the bottom of the second with two runs, but the Rams responded in the top of the third to level the playing field at 2-all. Savannah Scripter's base hit to left center plated Southers, who drew her second walk of the night, to even things up.

The Golden Rams rallied around a three-run bomb by Sam Gomez to put up six run home half of the third and recapture the lead, 8-2.
