CCC CHAMPIONSIHPS

  • The CCC has crowned a cross country champion dating back to 1998 for the women and 2000 for the men apart from the 2020 season for both sides due to COVID-19.
  • Gordon will host the event.
  • For the men, Gordon hoisted the trophy eight times in the 20-plus year history, however, Roger Williams has won the last two team titles.
  • Suffolk's men have finished as the CCC runner-up in each of its appearances on the championship course.

RAMS AT CCCs

  • Matyas Csiki-Fejer cruised to an individual title in 2021 in the men's 8k. He is the only runner in blue-and-gold to claim individual medalist honors at the CCC Championship.
  • Four male runners have claimed All-CCC all-time including Hayden Green a year ago and Thomas Novy in 2021.
  • The most men to capture All-CCC recognition, a spot in the top-15, was three in 2021 (Csiki-Fejer, Novy and Nic Malm).

COACH'S QUOTE
"I couldn't be happier with how this year's team has performed all season," head coach Will Feldman said. "To say they've had a challenging competing schedule would be an understatement. In previous years we've had the talent, but weren't able to put it together in the biggest moments. This year though they've stepped up, and competed at a high level every time."

Feldman continued, "It's been amazing to see how much this team has grown and matured over the course of the last two seasons, and they're ready to capture their first conference championship."

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Tim Barry and Thomas Novy will be going for top four finishes.
  • The trio of Hayden GreenSean Jacobsen and Luke Sikora have been consistent scorers for the Rams all season and the team will need a top-15 finish from each of them.
  • Jacob Dubin has become one of the most reliable runner of the season, consistently stepping up for Suffolk race-after-race.
