Cross Country Ships Up to Keene State Invitational Saturday


BOSTON – Suffolk cross country takes its talents to the Granite State for the second time this season as the Rams are scheduled to compete at the Keene State Invitational Saturday, Oct. 5. The men will run an 8k at 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT [ MEN ] 
Suffolk men's cross country put together its highest finish on the Corsairs Course in recent history as the Rams put together a took 15th at the 47th UMass Dartmouth Invitational September 21.

THE COURSE
Suffolk will be racing on the Owls course, which whines through Keene State's athletic fields and campus trails, for the second time. The Rams opened their 2019 campaign at the Early Bird Invitational August 31. 

THE FIELD
Suffolk's men's will be joined on the course by 19 competitors including nationally ranked Williams and Middlebury, who are No. 2 and No. 22 in the latest USTAFFF Poll.

GNAC wise, Suffolk will see its conference counterparts Colby Sawyer, Regis and Rivier in New Hampshire Saturday.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk has one final event prior to championship season beginning, the Rams' own Suffolk Invite and Battle for Boston Commons Saturday, Oct. 19. The second-annual event is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start time at Boston's Franklin Park.
