Men’s Cross Country Runs at Keene State Invitational

BOSTON – The Suffolk men's cross country team took the course at the Keene State Invitational Saturday. The Rams finished the 8k race by an average time 35:13.3 to take ninth overall.

Brandeis sat atop the nine-team field thanks to a combined average of 26:21.7. Fitchburg State and Colby rounded out the top three.

Individually, Paulo Guedes paced Suffolk's pack. The senior came through the finisher's cute in 32:21.8 to take 44th overall. William Phillips was 37 seconds behind to take 46th overall, while Bryan Etter crossed the tape in 34:33.7 to finish inside the top 50.

Nicholas Nunez and Eddie Lui closed out the blue-and-gold's competitors. Nunez' time of 36:31.2 was good for 54th, while Lui put together a 39:41.6 performance to claim 55th overall. 

Suffolk will prep for the GNAC Championships with the Saints Invitational Friday, Oct. 13 at Boston's Franklin Park.
