In its first season as a varsity sport, Suffolk men’s and women’s track & field saw one Ram earned All-GNAC status with a pair of student-athletes garnering sports on the conference’s all-sportsmanship team.
On a historic day in GNAC and Suffolk track & field, Mariama Kamara made history herself with a personal best showing at first-ever GNAC Track & Field Championships Sunday afternoon at Regis Stadium.
In its first varsity season, the Suffolk men’s and women’s track & field teams will head to Regis Stadium Sunday, April 29 for the first-ever GNAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the Pride. Events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Matthew Sambuceti of the Suffolk men’s track & field team represented the Rams at the Regis Invite. Sambuceti competed in the shot put, throwing for an 8.71 M distance.
The 2018 spring season will be one to remember for Suffolk University Athletics as a new team will be representing the Rams with outdoor track & field added to the mix. Just 60 days away from their first official event as a varsity program, Track & Field/Cross Country Head Coach Will Feldman has unveiled the 2018 schedule.
