BOSTON – Tim Barry of the Suffolk men's indoor track & field team got his senior season underway Saturday at Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. 

The captain that calls Westborough, Massachusetts home, clocked a 4:20.53 mile to capture 44th in the field of 57 that featured student-athletes from every NCAA Division including DIII counterparts including Ponoma Pitzer, Bates, Colby and WPI. Barry was the third-best D3 athlete in the field behind Bennett Booth-Genthe of Ponoma Pitzer (4:00.33) and Ross Tejeda of Bates (4:15.02).  

The Rams are back in action next Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Beacon Invitational hosted by UMass Boston at the Track at New Balance.
