Men’s Tennis’ DeFelice Tabbed GNAC All-Sportsmanship

WINTHROP, Mass. – Mike DeFelice of the Suffolk men's tennis team represented the Rams' on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team, the league office announced Wednesday. 

DeFelice made solid contributions on the court over the course of the season. The Brandford, Connecticut native primarily served as the Rams ace, putting together a 1-3 league ledger and a 3-9 overall mark.  

The conference's all-sportsmanship team was established to honor one player from each team in the league for outstanding dedication to sportsmanship and for their portrayal of good sportsmanship, fair play and positive attitude. 

Since joining the GNAC in 2007, Suffolk men's tennis has picked up 61 All-GNAC honors, three player of the year, five rookie of the year, three coach of the year, 22 first-team singles, nine second-team singles, three first-team doubles, six second team doubles with six all-tournament team selections, including a trio of MVP honors.
