HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk found itself in a 3-0 hole after the Wildcats locked up all doubles points.
The Rams picked up a singles win in the bottom slot, but it would not be enough as Johnson & Wales locked up the remaining five courts to secure the 8-1 win.
NOTEWORTHY
- The Rams' lone point came thanks to freshman Hasan Esrawi, who defeated Robert Michalofsky, 6-4, 2-6, 10-8, for his second singles victory of the season.
