Men’s Tennis Falls to JWU, 8-1

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Suffolk men's tennis team fell to Johnson & Wales, 8-1, in conference play at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols on Saturday afternoon. 

THE BASICS 
SCORE: Suffolk 1, Johnson & Wales 8

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Suffolk found itself in a 3-0 hole after the Wildcats locked up all doubles points. 

The Rams picked up a singles win in the bottom slot, but it would not be enough as Johnson & Wales locked up the remaining five courts to secure the 8-1 win. 

NOTEWORTHY

  • The Rams' lone point came thanks to freshman Hasan Esrawi, who defeated Robert Michalofsky, 6-4, 2-6, 10-8, for his second singles victory of the season.
