CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Suffolk men's tennis team dropped a non-conference contest against UMass Boston, 8-1, at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UMass Boston took an early 2-1 lead as the Beacons earned points on No. 1 and No. 3. The tandem of Rami Esrawi and Chris Parnagian got the Rams on the board with an 8-6 victory on the second court over Miguel Beltran and Okgoposte. The win marked the pair's second of the season, a team-high.
Suffolk could not rally a comeback, however, as UMass swept singles action to claim the 8-1 non-conference victory.
NOTEWORTHY
- The Rams' lone point came thanks to the partnership of Rami Esrawi and Chris Parnagian. The senior pair earned their second straight victory from the second court.
