Men’s Tennis Hosts RIC in Season Finale

BOSTON – The Suffolk men's tennis team is set to entertain Rhode Island College in the Rams final match of the 2018 season Thursday, April 26. First serve at North Reading High School is set for 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's tennis team found itself in the GNAC win column in its regular season conference closer as the Rams rolled past Norwich, 8-1, Saturday afternoon at the Sabine Tennis Courts.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (6-6) rides a three-match win streak into Thursday's tilt.   

Ariel Ilarslan Russo has been a main ingredient to the Rams' success as the rookie boasts an undefeated 8-0 mark as the blue-and-gold's ace this season. 

In doubles, Rami Esrawi and Kevin Greenman have put together a standout campaign with an 8-2 record on courts two (3-2) and three (5-0.

A BIT ABOUT THE ANCHORMEN
Rhode Island has also won its last three outings to sit 11-3 on the year. 

Cam Chadwick has held down the top spot for the Anchormen and brings in a 7-5 record in the top singles spot. Overall, he is 8-5 in singles action with one victory in the second slot. Brett Taggart is also a top racquet for RIC, boasting a 9-5 record mostly at No. 2 (8-5). 

Chadwick and Taggart are components to the Anchormen's top tandems as well. Chadwick has teamed up with Mike Dickie for a 6-2 record, while Taggart and Alex Bourque, who comprise the top twosome for RIC, sit 9-5.
