BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer is back in front of its home crowd Saturday, Oct. 12 as Regis heads to James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park for a 12 p.m. GNAC battle.

BENCH PRESS FOR BREAST CANCER
Members of Ram Nation are asked to pull their weight in an effort to take the load off of those affected by breast cancer in Suffolk Athletics' Bench Press for Breast Cancer event Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's soccer found itself in a four-goal hole after the first 45 minutes it never climbed out of as Wentworth prevailed in the non-conference Boston battle, 5-2, Tuesday night at Sweeney Field.

RAMS REVIEW
Suffolk enter Saturday's contest with an overall record of 3-6-1 and a 2-4-0 GNAC mark.  

Sunjoon Tenorio paces the squad offensively.  He has had a hand in half of the Rams' 16 goals scoring six himself and helping on two others. Simon Velez Angel has popped up with three markers with Tucker Mee and Emilio Tenacio contributing two goals each. Tenacio also has a knack for set-ups with a team-high three assists to his credit as well.   

Steven Lopez has put together a .704 save percentage and 2.77 GAA over five appearances and three starts. Kyle Rosa got his first start in net Tuesday and assembled a .444 save percentage and a 4.95 GAA. 

PRIDE POINTS
Regis has put together a campaign yielding a 3-7 record, and 1-4-0 GNAC ledger. 

The Pride's leading goal scorer is Fabyanno Furbino with three, while Ken Niyonzima and Branden Tan have each contributed two to the 12-goal attack. In the assist department, seven different student-athletes have tallied one assist. 

Ivan Ramirez and Freddie Beckmann have split time in net, with the former holding the most minutes. Beckmann holds the superior save percentage (.917) and GAA rate (0.43), with Ramirez providing a 1.94 GAA and a stoppage rate of .727.

INSIDE THE SERIES

• The Pride and Rams have each won four games in the all-time series, which began in 2011.
• Suffolk has dropped the last two encounters, a 3-1 defeat in 2017, followed by a narrow 2-1 loss last season.
• Two meetings in the series needed extra time to decide a winner. Both contests went into double overtime. The Rams came out on top, 2-1, in 2014, while the Pride took the double OT tilt by an identical score in the first-ever meeting in 2011.
• There has only been one shutout in the series, a 4-0 Regis win in 2015.
