DOUBLE FEATURE
For the fourth time in 2016, the Suffolk men's and women's soccer teams will be playing in a double header. The men's squad gets Monday's showdowns started as the Rams take on the Saints at 1 p.m., followed by the women's contest versus Emmanuel at 3:30 p.m. The men are 1-2 when playing in a Suffolk double feature, while the women's squad is 2-1 in a double header.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk split a two-game week, shutting out Mount Ida, 4-0, before suffering the same score setback at Norwich to move to 5-6 on the year and 3-2 in conference play, which is good for fourth in the standings.

Nine different Rams account for Suffolk's 28 this season with Alberto Bittan's 11 leading the way. Aaron Haggas is second on the squad with four goals, while Jordan Casey and Jarrett Davis have three tallies apiece. Bittan (4), Davis (4) and Casey (3) have each played a role in 11 other scores for the Rams with the trio leading the blue and gold in assists.

Netminders Jon Brodeur and Kyle Van Cleef have each started multiple games for the Rams. Brodeur stands at 3-3 with 30 saves on the year for a .698 percentage to go along with a 2.17 goals-against average. Van Cleef, meanwhile, is 2-3, on the year with 27 stops and a 2.49 goals-against average.

SOMETHING 'BOUT THE SAINTS
Emmanuel has the GNAC's second-best offensive team as far as goals (30) and assists (22) are concerned. The Saints played to a 3-0 triumph over Anna Maria Saturday, its second straight win, to improve to 5-6-2 on the year and 2-2-1 in league action.

Colin O'Donnell's 23 pints (10g, 3a) puts him in the team lead and has him setting second in the GNAC rankings in points, behind Suffolk's Bittan (26). Alex DeSaulnier has also found the back of the net six times, while Justin Connor and Henri Morrison have each two tallies.

Jonathan Ferrarini has a 1.98 goals-against average, letting through 25 goals in 13 starts, while making 71 saves to pick up a 5-6-2 record on the year with two cleansheets.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Since 2002, Suffolk is 10-4 against Emmanuel thanks to winning the first eight meetings. Last season, the Rams defeated the Saints, 2-1, with a second-half two-goal effort.

EYES ON THE GAME

BACK-TO-BACK
