BOSTON – The Suffolk men's soccer team makes the trip to Providence, Rhode Island this afternoon for a 1 p.m. GNAC contest at Johnson & Wales.

LAST TIME OUT

Playing its second overtime game of the week, the Suffolk men's soccer team clashed with Saint Joseph's of Maine Saturday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park. The Rams and Monks battled, but it was the visitors that came away with a  1-0 victory with three minutes remaining in the extra session.

RUN DOWN ON THE RAMS
The Suffolk offense is starting to gel in the back half of the season, as the Rams have scored three goals in their last three contests. Six different players in blue-and-gold are responsible for Suffolk's six scores this season. Jordan Casey and Fernando Tome are the lone Rams with one goal and one assist, each to lead the squad in points.  Ben Daniels, Alvin Di, Eugenio Ottino and Tkhen To are responsible for the other four tallies. 

Nicholas Chamma has been to the go-to goalie as of late, starting the last nine matches for the Rams. The senior player brings a 3.01 goals-against average and 54 saves into the Johnson & Wales game. 

WILDCAT WAYS
While Johnson & Wales was up and down through its non-conference slate, it has hit its stride in GNAC play, collecting four league wins in five chances. After a 2-1 overtime loss at Mount Ida, the Wildcats have rattled off four straight to move to 9-4 overall and 4-1 in league action. 

Byron Arboleda has been an offensive machine for JWU, registering a team-high totals of five tallies and 14 points. Andrew Vecere has also five goals to his credit while Tucker Macpherson and Teagan Drake  have handed out a team-best five assists. 

Nick tolman has started all but three games for the Wildcats and has made 41 saves on the season to go along with a 1.29 goals-against average and three shutouts.
