The Suffolk University Men's Soccer team fell 1-0 on Friday evening in their 2013 season opener.

Freshman Skylar Ripley (Yuba City, Calif.) scored the game's lone goal on a breakaway with seven minutes remaining in regulation for the Lynx' win.

The Suffolk defense was strong on the evening as they just limited the Lynx to two second half shots on goal in the contest, but it was Ripley's shot that proved to be the difference in the game.

Sophomore Juan Lazcano Bello (Madrid, Spain) registered both shots on goal offensively for Suffolk in the game.

Suffolk will be back in action on Tuesday evening as they host UMass-Boston at 7:00pm in the Rams' 2013 home opener at Dilboy Field in Somerville.
