Nick Roberto joined the Suffolk Rams as an assistant coach during the 2022-2023 season. 

Prior to joining the Rams’ bench, Roberto spent five years as the head coach of the national-bound U-15 TopGun select team in the New England Fall Prep Hockey League. Additionally, Roberto has been working with players on an individual level as the head instructor at the Holland Hockey Academy in Woburn, Massachusetts since 2018. 
 
A Massachusetts native, Roberto was a standout forward for the Boston University from 2013-2017, winning the Terriers’ Unsung Hero Award his senior year. During his time at on Commonwealth Ave, Roberto helped the Terriers three NCAA Tournaments including a 2014 Frozen Four appearance that saw the Terriers skate against the Providence College Friars in the 2014 championship contest. A year later, he was a main ingredient to BU's 2015 Beanpot Championship win over the Northeastern Huskies. 

Before his collegiate career, Roberto was named the Prep Hockey Player of the Year in 2013 while playing for Kimball Union Academy. Additionally, he won the MVP award in the Flood/Marr Holiday Tournament in 2012 becoming the first KUA player to win the award since 1975. He also helped KUA win the NEPSIHA Small School title by scoring the overtime winner in the championship game. Before KUA, Roberto led the Malden Catholic Lancers to the 2011 Super 8 title.
