CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Jake Grace of the Suffolk men's hockey team picked up CCC Rookie of the Week after a two-goal effort in a 1-0-1 week for the Rams, the league office announced Monday.

The forward from Sicklerville, New Jersey, scored his first collegiate goal on the power play to push the Rams past Western New England, 4-3, Friday night, Suffolk's first CCC win of the season.

The next night in West Springfield, Massachusetts, put away another power play marker in the 3-3 draw versus the Golden Bears.

Grace's first collegiate weekly recognition marks Suffolk's third weekly award this season as Joe O'Brien and Devin Lowe were named the league's best rookie and player over a seven-day stretch Oct. 31.

Suffolk wraps up its first semester calendar Friday, Dec. 8 when it heads up to Southern Maine to face the Huskies at 7 p.m.
