The Rams 2019-20 season debut takes place on the road against Franklin Pierce, a familiar non-conference foe, on Nov. 1. This will be the second year in a row in which Suffolk and the Ravens meet on night one of the season.

The road swing continues from there as the blue-and-gold lifts the lid on its New England Hockey Conference calendar at Skidmore (Nov. 8) and Hobart (Nov. 9).

Suffolk steps out of league play for its home opener Friday, Nov. 15 when Anna Maria, which opens a homestand that features league foes Southern Maine (Nov. 22) and New England College (Nov. 23).

A trip to Endicott Tuesday, Nov. 26 precedes the Steve Hoar Invitational that pits the Rams against Wilkes Saturday, Nov. 30 with the blue-and-gold to take on either Becker or Franklin Pierce the following day.

Cross city action at UMass Boston (Dec. 6) and a battle at UMass Boston (Dec. 7) come before the first semester finale against Salem State Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Second semester get started at Trinity Saturday, Jan. 4 with a four-match home stretch featuring league rivals Norwich (Jan. 10), Castleton (Jan. 11), Hobart (Jan. 17) and Skidmore (Jan. 18) consuming the next two weekens.

A home-and-home with Suffolk's travel partner Johnson & Wales is scheduled Jan. 24-25. The Wildcats will first pay visit to the Rams in their appreciation game with the blue-and-gold heading to Providence, Rhode Island the next day.

January wraps up with a trip to New England College on Friday, Jan. 31 and the back-and-forth home-and-away action spills into February.

After a Saturday, Feb. 1 showdown at Southern Maine, the Rams welcome Babson (Feb. 7) and UMass Boston (Feb. 8) for their final home weekend and cap off the regular season at Castleton (Feb. 14) and Norwich (Feb. 15).

Gilonna welcomes back two of the top three scorers from last year's squad that went 8-17 overall and 5-13 against conference opponents. JuniorJack Kelly anchors the returners, coming off a 23-point sophomore season with 11 assists and a team-high 12 goals, while Brian Brooks looks to finish off his career strong after dishing out 10 assists and racking up five goals last season. The Rams will call upon returners Billy Roche and Joe Vingi to hold down the defensive unit.
