Levine Up for HeroSports DIII Goaltender HERO of the Week

BOSTON – Michael Levine of the Suffolk men's hockey team has been named a nominee for HeroSports.com DIII Men's Hockey Goaltending HERO of the Week after being the back stop in the Rams' 5-2 season opening win over Assumption. To vote for Levine, click here.

Levine, who calls Clarendon, Illinois home, anchored Suffolk's seventh straight season opening win with a 37-save effort between the posts versus the Greyhounds. For his efforts in net, the junior also became the first blue-and-gold netminder to be named the CCC's best goalie over a seven day stretch.

Levine and the Rams are back in action this weekend as they take on Nichols in a home-and-home series. Suffolk will first entertain the Bison Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:00 p.m. in Charlestown at Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Rink before heading to Harrisville, Rhode Island, for a Saturday (Nov. 4) showdown at Levy Rink at 7:40 p.m.
