RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk looks to a snap a two-game skid that pushed the Rams record to 2-4-1 overall.

Sophomore Tommy Bishop's seven points on a team-high three goals and four handouts lead Suffolk's 16-goal offense. Classmates Justin Holliday and Nick Mosher and senior Danyil Medvedev (2-2-4) each have two goals with Medevdev's four points tying sophomore LJ Fellows (0-4-4) for second on the squad.

In net, Michael Levine sits 2-2-1 overall. The sophomore goal has faced 193 shots this season, saving 177 (.917) and letting in 16 (3.08 GAA).

SOMETHING 'BOUT THE SKYHAWKS
Similar to Suffolk, Stonehill had lost back-to-back games to move to 3-3-1 on the year. The Skyhawks fell at Saint A's (7-2), before dropping a 3-0 decision to Franklin Pierce.

A defenseman leads the Skyhawks offensively with sophomore Connor Collier scoring two goals and handing out seven assists. His fellow blueliner Connor Tedesco is second on the team in points with one score and six handouts, while Cameron Wright (2-2-4), Jack Hall (2-0-2) and Nicholas Godin (2-0-2) have each netted two goals apiece for Stonehill this season.

William Palmer has held down the pipes for the Skyhawaks this season. In seven appearances, the sophomore has saved 207 of the 230 shots faced for a .900 save percentage and 3.39 goals-against average.

THE SERIES
Suffolk and Stonehill have a vivid history together, having met 22 times prior to this season. The Rams trail the series dating back to 1999, 7-15, despite picking up a 6-3 win over the Skyhawks last year in Charlestown.

EYES ON THE GAME

SHORT-HANDED
Luke Miller's first goal of the season came in short-handed fashion at Western New England Nov. 10. The junior forward is the first Ram to net a man-down score since Justin Selep '16 put one away in a 5-2 win at Nichols Jan. 16, 2016.

CCC FROZEN FIRST
Simon Leahy
's first goal of the season turned out to be a historic one as the senior from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was the first player across the CCC to find the back of the netting on the inaugural night of play for the first-year league. Since the tally was on the power play, he added to the historics, as the forward also became the first CCC skater to put one away on the man advantage opportunity.

CCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tommy Bishop
of the Suffolk men's hockey team will go down in history as the first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week as the sophomore grabbed the initial award of the inaugural season after a career opening night, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
