RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
10 different Rams have recorded a point on Suffolk's (1-1-0, 0-1-0 CCC) young season led by Tommy Bishop, who put together a career-day of four points on two goals and two handouts in the Rams' season opener at Assumption Oct. 29. Mikhail Bryan (2-0-2), LJ Fellows (0-2-2), Simon Leahy (1-1-2) and Nick Mosher (1-1-2) all have multiple point efforts to their credit.

In net, Michael Levine has started the first two games for Suffolk. The sophomore goaltender has faced 76 attempts through two games, turning aside 70 (.921) in letting in six (3.01 GAA).

SOMETHING 'BOUT THE SEAHAWKS
Salve Regina has three contests under its belt and welcomes Suffolk to Portsmouth, Rhode Island, with a 2-1-0 overall ledger and a (1-0-0 CCC) mark after defeating Curry, 3-1, in its league opener Thursday night.

Jack Billinigs' four points has set up the Seahawks offense this season with the first-year forward dishing out a team-best three assists and adding a score to his stat line. Jonathan Felteau (3-0-3), Evan Schmidbauer (2-1-3), and Evan Schults (2-1-3) are all major contributors offensively with three points apiece.

Blake Wojtala has seen all the action through three games in between the pipes for the Seahwaks. The sophomore goalie has posted 118 saves (.959) and let in five scores (1.67 GAA) for a 2-1-0 record.

THE SERIES
Suffolk and Salve Regina will meet for the 25th time on the ice since the 1999-2000 season. Suffolk took an 11-10-3 edge in the all-time meetings last year with a 3-2 win at Salve Regina.

EYES ON THE GAME

CCC FROZEN FIRST
Simon Leahy's first goal of the season turned out to be a historic one as the senior from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was the first player across the CCC to find the back of the netting on the inaugural night of play for the first-year league. Since the tally was on the power play, he added to the historics, as the forward also became the first CCC skater to put one away on the man advantage opportunity.

CCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tommy Bishop of the Suffolk men's hockey team will go down in history as the first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week as the sophomore grabbed the initial award of the inaugural season after a career opening night, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
