WENHAM, Mass. – Suffolk men's golf started its final weekend of the 2023-24 season with a win as the Rams captured the Gordon College Shootout Saturday at the Wenham Country Club. 

The Rams combined for a team score of 273 on the 4,546-yard course to top the three-team field on the North Shore. Suffolk was three strokes ahead of its Commonwealth Coast Conference Gordon (276). Emmanuel rounded out the field with a 308.  

Individually, senior Cameron Sinopoli was the top blue-and-gold golfer on the green as he shot just one over the 65-par to claim second in the 17-golfer field. 

Vijay Sakuru logged a 68 to take fourth and Jake Zirlin was right behind Sakuru in fifth with a 69.  

Ryan Mollica shared eighth with a care of 72 and Christopher Sinopoli's 76 was good for 11th.  

Suffolk concludes its spring slate at the RWU Invitational over the next two days. The event will be played in Portsmouth, Rhode Island at the Green Valley Country Club Sunday, April 21 and the Aquidneck Club Monday, April 22.
