Spring Series Makes Up 2019 Slate for Men's Golf

2018-19 MEN'S GOLF SCHEDULE

BOSTON – The Suffolk men's golf team is set to take part in the seventh annual Spring Series, hosted by Rhode Island College, UMass Dartmouth and Johnson & Wales, head coach Ed McMellen unveiled. The Rams have competed in the three-invitational event since its inaugural year in 2013.

The Spring Series is a combination of three, 36-hole events with the champion being determined by the cumulative team score for the trio of events – RIC Invitational, Wildcats Spring Invitational and the Hampton Inn Invitational.

The Rams will first hit the green on Friday, April 5 for the two-day RIC Invite at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island. The following weekend, the blue-and-gold will head to the Cranston Country Club in Cranston, Rhode Island for the Wildcats Spring Invitational.

Suffolk will wrap up its spring season on Friday, April 19 at the Allendale Country Club in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, for the Hampton Inn Invitational.

The Rams will look to build on their strong fourth-place finish in the GNAC Championship, their highest placement since 2017.
