Men’s Golf Takes Second at Saints Invitational

HYDE PARK, Mass. – Suffolk men's golf headed out on the course for the second time in 2018 Tuesday afternoon and the Rams' put together a runner-up performance at the Saints Invitational at the George Wright Golf Course. 

Suffolk's team card read 327 after an 18-hole outing in a rain, filled day, finishing just six strokes behind the winner, Elms. Dean's 351 was good for third with the hosts, Emmanuel, finishing fourth with a combined score of 370.  

Junior Owen Boggini grabbed the individual title with a two-stroke lead of 74. Classmates Andrew Harper tied for third with a 79, while Demetrois Stamoulis took sixth with an 84.  

Junior Elias Sachs and seniorStephen Ferrante completed the Rams participating on Suffolk's team card with a 90 and 91, respectively. 

Freshman Brian Dunleavy took the green as an individual and shot a 73, the lowest of all competitors.  

The quad-match served as the final one-day event for 2018 for the Rams, who ready for their first two-day meet of the season, the Blazers Invitational, set for this upcoming weekend, Oct. 6-7, at The Hickory Ridge Country Club.
