Men's Golf Releases 2018 Fall Slate

BOSTON - Suffolk men's golf team is set for five different tournaments over the course of the 2018 fall campaign, head coach Ed McMellen released Thursday morning.

A pair of matches hosted by Emmanuel and the two-day Blazers Invitaitonal will help the Rams prep for the duo of championships they are set to play for in October.

Suffolk will first head out on the green Tuesday, Sept. 12 for the Emmanuel Invitational at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park, before taking the George Wright Golf Course for the Saints Invitational two weeks later.

From there, the blue-and-gold will head to the Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst, Massachusetts, for Elms' Blazer Invitational.

The chase for the GNAC conference crown is slated for October 13-14 at the Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, Massachusetts, with Worcester State hosting the league tournament.

Six days after the conclusion of the conference tourney, the Rams will test their talents against the regional teams at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association's (NEIGA) Oct. 20-22 at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts.

Suffolk returns nearly every golfer from last year's team, which put together the highest finish (6th of 9) at the GNAC Championships since 2013.
