The Suffolk University Golf team participated in their second invitational on Columbus Day weekend. The Rams placed 11th at the Bison Invitational hosted by Nichols College. The Rams shot a total of 359 (+17) in the one day event.
Pat Knowles was the Rams top shooter on the day shooting an 88 (+16). Knowles shot a 46 in round one, and a 42 on round two. Barrett Beinecke, who had an impressive showing on Friday, shot an 89 (+17)placing 43rd in the tournament. Beinecke shot a 41 in the first round, and a 48 in round two. Chris Gray and Pat Flaherty both shot a 91 (+19) to tie for 47th place. Alex Toma was the Rams fifth player, shooting 93 (+21) as he finished 53rd.
UMass-Dartmouth won the event with a combined score of 319 (+31). Worcester State's Bob Bruso was the best individual player as he shot a 69 (-3). Bruso was the only player of the day to show under the course par of 72.
