Yardemian Named CCC Player of the Week

CCC Release

BEVERLY, Mass. – Danny Yardemian of the Suffolk men's basketball team was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week after showing 9-for-13 from the field in a 2-0 week for the Rams in which he averaged 22.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

The law student opened the week with a 20-point, four-board, five-handout effort in a convincing 89-73 win over Gordon Tuesday.

On Saturday at Endicott, the guard from Belmont, Massachusetts, paced the blue-and-gold to its first-ever road win over the Gulls, a 70-69, decision. He contributed a career-high 24 points with a personal-best 6-for-6 showing from the charity stripe. In the Rams fourth straight victory, he added four steals and one block.

The weekly recognition is Yardemian's first of his career at Suffolk. It marks the second time this season that a Ram received a weekly distinction from the CCC as Keenan Robertson garnered Co-Player of the Week seven days ago.

Suffolk rides its four-game win streak into Wednesday, Jan. 31 when it entertains Western New England at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith at 7:30 p.m.
