Robertson Claims CCC Co-Player of the Week

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass.– Keenan Robertson of the Suffolk men's basketball team was named CCC Co-Player of the Week after producing 24.0 ppg and 8.5 rpg in a 2-0 week for the Rams, the league office announced Monday.

Robertson opened the week with a 28-point, eight-rebound effort in a 75-67 win at Hartford, Wednesday, Jan. 17. In that triumph, the junior forward became one of the youngest members of Suffolk's 1,000-point club. He is the first junior to eclipse the feat since Thomas Duffy in 2018-19.

Three days later, he contributed 20 points, nine caroms, two steals, two assists and one swat to the 89-78 win at Roger Williams.

In the two-game week, he shot 51.4 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent at the charity stripe.

Robertson is the first Ram to be named the conference's best player over a seven-day stretch this season. He is the first to claim the award since he collected the distinction Jan. 3, 2023. The Rochester, New York, is the second Suffolk student-athlete to be recognized by the league this season as Owen Walters was tabbed CCC Rookie of the Week Nov. 20.

Robertson and the Rams return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 23 when Gordon stops by Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 7:30 p.m. CCC clash.
