Men’s Basketball Stumbles in Season-Finale at Endicott, 90-71

BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk men's basketball closed out its regular-season on the road and the Rams fell to the Gulls of Endicott, 90-71, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at MacDonald Gymnasium.

THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 71 | Endicott 90
RECORDS: Suffolk (15-9, 10-8 CCC) | Endicott (13-10, 10-8 CCC)

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk and Endicott played tight through most of the first. The Gulls managed to put together four straight points before the teams traded buckets to close the opening half. That stretch sent the Rams into the locker room down, 43-35.

Endicott shot out of the locker room on an 18-5 run that put the blue-and-gold in a 61-40 hole five minutes into the second half and force Jeff Juron to take a timeout.

The huddle did not ignite the Rams offense and the Gulls continued to have a day from the floor, especially from 3-point land, to cruise to the 90-71 victory.
