BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball takes its six-game win streak across town Thursday, Dec. 9 to cap off its 2021 portion of its calendar at UMass Boston. The Rams and Beacons are scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

LAST TIME OUT
Aidan Sullivan's 21-point produced paced four different Rams in double figures to pace Suffolk men's basketball to an 87-74 victory over Roger Williams in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday night at the Campus Rec Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has strung six wins in a row to sit 7-1 on the year.  

The Rams 88.3 points per game offensive output is one of the best in New England and comes behind a squad's 49.7 percent shooting percentage from the floor, which includes a 41.5 connection rate from downtown. Four players in blue-and-gold average double figures led by Nate Hale's 18.6 ppg production. Aidan Sullivan (13.4 ppg), John Gates (12.4 ppg) and William Rowe (10.3 ppg) are consistent contributors to the scoring unit as well. Freshmen Cole LeVangie and Keenan Robertson add 9.4 ppg and 8.4 ppg, respectively. 

Defensively, Suffolk is outrebounding its foes by a 1.9 margin, grabbing 38.8 caroms per outing. Robertson paces the effort on the glass with 6.5 rpg with Rowe pulling down 6.3 rpg. 

BEACONS BITS
UMass Boston picked up a 69-63 win over Western Connecticut State Tuesday, Dec. 7 to improve to 4-3 on the season.  

The Beacons are putting up 68.9 ppg as a team. Charles Mitchell is responsible for nearly a third of that offensive production with 22.3 ppg of his own. Stephen DiGregorio averages double digits as well with 11.3 ppg to his credit.  

Malik Lorquet's offensive output of 7.2 rpg is identical to his defensive 7.2 rpg performance, which anchors the team's 36.3 rpg effort.
