Endicott Handles Men’s Basketball, 85-62

BABSON PARK, Mass. – Suffolk men's basketball fell behind early and could not make up the ground as Endicott put on cruise control to take down the Rams, 85-62, in the opening game of the Babson Invitational Saturday afternoon at Staake Gymnasium.

THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 62 | Endicott 85
RECORDS: Suffolk (2-1-0) | Endicott (3-0-0)

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gulls early 10-4 edge blossomed to a 25-7 cushion at the midway point. The Rams attempted a rally on a traditional three-point by from Steven DiPrizio with just under five minutes remaining in the first frame, but Endicott answered every hoop Suffolk put in to hold a hefty 47-24 lead at intermission.

The same story could be said about the second set of 20 minutes as Endicott held off each of Suffolk's comeback attempts to take the 85-62 non-conference decision.
