BOSTON – The Suffolk men's basketball team takes a two-game win streak into the Babson Invitational this weekend. The Rams get the action going Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. versus Endicott. The winner of the Saturday showdown advances to the championship the following day and will take the victor of the Babson, UMaine Farmington day one matchup. Both losing teams from the first day of action will clash in the consolation contest at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18.

LAST TIME OUT
Trailing by as many as 16 points, the Suffolk men's basketball team came back and used a lay-up from Brendan Mulson on a feed from Thomas Duffy with five-tenths of a second left on the clock to take a 71-69 victory at Brandeis Wednesday night.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is off to a 2-0 start for the time since 2010-11 after taking down Salve Regina, 95-59, and slipping past Brandeis, 71-69.
The trio of Brendan Mulson, Michael Hagopian and Thomas Duffy has been the main ingredients to the Rams' 83.0 ppg offense. Mulson leads the way with 18.0 ppg with Hagopian and Duffy providing 17.0 ppg and 16.0 ppg, respectively. Duffy is also instrumental in setting-up shots with the junior dishing out 6.5 assists per contest.
On the defensive end it's the duo of Duffy and Mulson who paces the pack with 5.5 rpg each. As a team Suffolk pulls down 32.0 rpg, outrebounding its foes by a 1.0 rpg margin.
GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott (2-0) is off to a red-hart start with wins over Eastern Nazarene (95-81) and at No. 5 MIT (90-73).
The Gulls' 92.5 ppg offense is anchored by junior guard Keith Brown's 34.0 ppg off a 53.7 connection rate from the floor and a 60.0 shooting percentage from three-point land. Matt McDevitt joins Brown in double figures with 14.0 ppg with Mathew Catizone (9.5 ppg) and Vinny Clifford (8.0 ppg) also adding to the effort.
Joe Shehadi's 6.5 rpg leads Endicott's 31.0 rpg effort. McDevitt (4.0 rpg), Brown (3.5 rpg) and Clifford (3.5 rpg) are also constant contributors to the effort.

BABSON BREAKDOWN
Babson split its first two games – falling to Johnson & Wales, 85-80 in overtime, and defeating Lasell, 82-58, to head into the weekend 1-1 on the year. The tournament host's will take on UMaine Farmington Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers have a big three that they rely on each end of the hardwood in Andrew Jaworski (25.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg), Brandon Johnson (12.0 ppg, 7.5 rpg) and Frank Oftring (11.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg).
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Suffolk, Babson would meet for the 65th time Sunday depending what happens Saturday afternoon.
- The Rams trail the all-time series with the Beavers, 31-33.

MAINE FARMINGTON FACTS
Maine Farmington lifted the lid on its 2018-19 slate with a convincing 96-64 win over Maine Machias to head into the weekend 1-0 on the year.
Riley Robinson was the go-to guy for the Beavers game one with the junior forward registered 24 points behind an 11-for-14 connection rate from the floor. He also pulled down a team-high nine boards to finish just short of a double-double effort. Milani Hicks (15) and Amir Moss (13) also provided double figures in the season opener for UMF.
