HOW IT HAPPENED
Johnson & Wales scored the first two hoops of the contest and continued to pile on the points from there quickly turning a 10-point advantage into 20. Suffolk found itself down by as many as 27, twice, but thanks to threes from Brendan Mulson and Michael Hagopian over the final two minutes, the Rams trimmed the deficit to 46-24 at the break.

Suffolk had a lot of ground to make up out of the locker rooms, but instead the team's traded hoop instead. After a layup from Kevin Querusio, the Wildcats scored 13 consecutive points to put the game just out of reach, taking a 62-28 cushion.

JWU went up by as many as 40, 83-43, and went on for a 94-57 consecutive win.
