BOSTON – The Suffolk men's basketball team kept its win streak going as the Rams bested Framingham State, 93-66 Wednesday night inside Regan Gymnasium.

THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 93, Framingham State 66
RECORDS: Suffolk (6-4) | Framingham State (4-9)

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk turned an early 4-0 lead into an 11-2 cushion at the 15:07 minute mark as Framingham State used its first timeout of the game.

The break played in the visiting Rams favor as they chipped away at the blue-and-gold lead and pulled within three, 11-7. Alex Jacovides made up ground for the hosts as the freshman drained his first of three triples over a 1:31 span to regain a 20-12 lead for Suffolk at the midway point of the first.

The teams traded hoops before a 6-0 stretch, which featured two hoops from Kevin Querusio, made it a 39-26 Suffolk game with 3:57 to play before intermission. Framingham was kept at bay the remainder of the way as the Boston Rams took a 45-34 advantage into halftime.

Out of the locker room Suffolk rattled off seven quick points including a traditional three-point play from Brendan Mulson to stretch its lead to 52-34 with 17:59 remaining.

Jacovides stayed hot into the second half and his fourth trey of the night made it a 20-point game, before the freshman from Tampa, Florida, put away his fifth bucket from downtown to turn it into a 63-40 Suffolk contest.

Every player in blue-and-gold contributed down the stretch with the hosts building a 84-55 Suffolk contest with just over five minutes on the clock. The hosts put on cruise from control from there to walk away with the 93-66 non-conference.
