LAST TIME OUT
As history repeats itself, the Suffolk men's basketball team found itself in a double figure deficit at half time versus Albertus Magnus. The Rams rallied a comeback, but came up short once again as the Falcons outlasted the Rams, 72-59, inside Regan Gymnasium Thursday night.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk has split its week thus far, defeating Rivier, 79-45, before falling to Albertus Magnus, 72-59, to carry a 4-10 overall record and 3-4 league ledger into Saturday.

The Rams' put up 65.9 ppg thanks in large part to a trio of sophomores contributing double figures in Steven DiPrizio (13.1 ppg), Michaegl Hagopian (10.9 ppg), and Jim Djema (10.7 ppg).

On the glass, Suffolk grabs 33.2 rpg with DiPrizio's 8.3 rpg leading the way.

LASER LESSONS
As of last Thursday night, Lasell was unbeaten in the GNAC before Johnson & Wales quieted the Lasers, 83-69, to put them at 9-5 overall and 6-1 against conference competition.

Lasell's 77.1 ppg is good for third amongst the league, thanks to the top individual's offensive output in Armin Omanovic's 25.7 ppg. John Powell and Tim Blair also register double digits for the Laser's with 13.9 ppg and 10.9 ppg, respectively.

The Lasers are the top GNAC school on the glass with 44.9 caroms per game, out rebounding their opponents by a 7.6 margin. Yordan Villaion paces the pack on the boards with 10.1 rpg with Powell contributing 9.1 rpg to the effort.

THE SERIES
Suffolk trails the all-time series versus Lasell, 13-6. In three meetings last year, the Rams picked sandwiched two setbacks around a monumental regular-season finale win that second the seventh-seed for the blue-and-gold in the GNAC Tournament.
