BOSTON – Coming off its first GNAC victory, the Suffolk men's basketball team hits the road this weekend as the Rams travel to Albertus Magnus Saturday, Dec. 10 for a 1 p.m. conference contest.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's basketball team put a complete game together in front of its home crowd as the Rams outlasted Norwich, 61-52, Wednesday night inside Regan Gymnasium for the blue and gold's first GNAC victory of the season.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk improved to 2-6 on the season and 1-1 in GNAC play with its 61-52 win over Norwich Wednesday night.

The Rams are averaging 63.5 ppg with a trio of sophomores registering double figures. Steven DiPrizio leads the way with 12.1 ppg with Jim Djema and Michael Hagopian adding 10.8 ppg and 10.5 ppg, respectively. 

Defensively, Suffolk grabs 32.4 rpg. Once again DiPrizio is pacing the pack with 7.1 rpg with freshman Thomas Duffy (5.1 rpg) and senior Quinn McCartney (4.1 rpg) adding to the effort.

FACTS ON THE FALCONS
Albertus Magnus has put back-to-back wins together, both of which were 100-point outtings for the Falcons, to take a 5-2 ledger into Saturday. In conference play, the Falcons are 1-1 with a win over Emmanuel (93-77) and a setback at Johnson &W ales (75-70) in overtime.   

Five different Falcons average double figures to pace Albertus Magnus' 90.9 ppg. Mason Jones' 23.0 ppg leads the way with Devin Coleman (18.4 ppg), Jaqhawn Wlaters (17.6 ppg), Shaquille Mitchell 14.3 ppg) and Ryan Pittman (11.0 ppg) all adding to the effort. 

The Falcons are outrebounding their opponents by a 2.6 margin, grabbing 41.4 rpg. Walters tallies 10.9 rpg to average a double-double effort. Liam Perryman is second on the squad on the glass with 4.8 rpg with Mitchell chipping in 4.1 rpg. 

INSIDE THE SERIES
Suffolk and Albertus Magnus have met since the Rams joined the GNAC in 1999. In the all-time series, the blue and gold trail the Falcons 15-21 with Albertus Magnus taking the last seven meetings.   

EYES ON THE GAME

SEEING DOUBLE
Steven DiPrizio has notched two double-doubles this season. The first of his career came in a 78-72 setback to Emerson with a 22-point, 13-rebound effort. The sophomore notched his second in the Rams' first win of the season as the forward led the blue and gold to victory with 19 points and 17 boards.
