BOSTON – The Suffolk men's basketball team tips off its 11-game home schedule Tuesday, Nov. 22 as the Rams welcome Boston Commons neighbor Emerson to Regan Gymnasium for a 7 p.m. showdown.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's basketball team suffered a 68-58 heartbreaking loss to Alfred in the consolation contest of Rocehster's Chuck Resler Tournament Saturday afternoon at the Louis Alexander Palestra.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk sits at 0-3 on the season after suffering setbacks at Brandeis (87-78) and to Washington and Lee (66-56) and Alfred (68-58). 

Michael Hagopian leads a quarter of Rams who average double figures in scoring with the sophomore putting in 14.3 ppg. Classmates Jim Djema and Steven DiPrizio are at 10.7 ppg and 10.3 ppg, respectively, with freshman George Grillakis adding a 10.3 ppg spark off Suffolk's bench. 

Defensively, rookie Thomas Duffy grabs a team-best 5.3 rpg with senior Quinn McCartney (4.5 rpg) and Grillakis (4.0 rpg) adding to the effort. 

LOOK AT THE LIONS
Emerson split its two-games at the Coaches vs. Cancer Great Boston Shootout opening weekend, defeating Wentworth, 73-57, and falling to Pine Manor, 84-82, to carry a 1-1 record into Tuesday night. 

Geoffrey Gray and Michael Sheng each average 16.5 ppg with Corey Fitz contributing 14.0 ppg. Gray and Fitz are also the Lions' leaders on the glass with the former pulling down a team-best 9.5 rpg and the latter grabbing 7.5 rpg.

Following the Thanksgiving holiday, Suffolk returns to the friendly confines of Regan Gymnasium for a Sunday, Nov. 27 meeting with Salve Regina. The contest is set for a 3 p.m. start.
