RETURNING TO ROCHESTER
Jeff Juron will return to Rochester, where he spent nine years – four as a starting point guard for the Yellowjackets and five as an assistant coach of his alma mater – officially as the Rams' head coach for the Chuck Resler Invitational Nov. 18-19. The trip also marks Suffolk's first to the University of Rochester.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk hung around with a tough, veteran Brandeis team even with six rookies making their collegiate debut Tuesday.

Michael Hagopian proved to be the Rams offensively threat with a career-high 17-point effort on a 7-of-13 shooting performance from the floor and a 3-of-6 showing from long range. The sophomore led four Suffolk players in double figures sophomore Jim Dejam (16), freshman George Grillakis (14) and sophomore Steven DiPrizio (13) racking up double digit points.

Freshman Thomas Duffy grabbed a team-high on the glass, pulling down seven of Suffolk's 24.

THAT'S A FIRST
Suffolk will tip-off against fresh competition this season. All three programs joining the Rams at Rochester's Chuck Resler Invitational Nov. 18-19, Washington and Lee, Alfred and the host Rochester have yet to take the hardwood against the Rams.

GET TO KNOW THE GENERALS
Washington and Lee prepped for the tournament with its season opener at Ferrum Tuesday night. The Generals rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to tie the game in the second stanza, but ultimately fell, 74-69, to stand 0-1 on the season.

Two Generals stood out on both ends of the hardwood for W&L. Clayton Murtha put in 19 points and led the Rams on the glass with eight boards. Devin Kearns provided 15 points and six rebounds.

FLYING WITH THE YELLOWJACKETS
Rochester is the lone team in the Chuck Reseler field to record a season-opening win, but it was not done easily as the Yellowjackets took Ithaca to overtime to secure a 104-94 victory.

Six players notched double figures in the OT, day one win for Rochester led by senior Sam Borst-Smith's 21 points. Classmate Mack Montague added 20, while sophomore Jacob Wittig had a double-double thanks to 10 points and a career-high 10 assists. Junior Tucker Knox (16), sophomore Ryan Clamage (15) and Zack Ayers (13) rounded out Rochester's double digit scorers.
