The Norwich Cadets had four players in double digits to avenge a
mid-season loss to the Suffolk University Rams, 86-67 Tuesday
evening at the Regan Gymnasium. Jaren Jeffcoat (Dallas, Tx)had 16
points, including 10 in the second half for the Cadets. Robert
Thurman (Edwards, Ca) and Antonio Davis (Albany, NY) each added 15
and Darell Marshall (Dallas, Tx) added 12. Marshall also added 8
assists and had 4 steals.
Suffolk’s Mike Gibbons (Ringwood, NJ) was 5-8 shooting from
beyond the arc and put in 16 points in the game. Brian Small
(Stoughton, MA) also added 15 points and Mario Massimino (East
Haven, CT) added 10 in the losing effort. Jevic Muteba (Revere, MA)
added 9 rebounds for Suffolk. The loss now all but cancels any
hopes Suffolk had of advancing to the GNAC Playoffs.
Norwich wraps up their regular this Saturday as they host Albertus
Magnus. The Rams will be back in action Thursday night as they host
Mount Ida College at 8:00 pm, before finishing out their season at
home Saturday against Emmanual College.
