Clothing Drive Rescheduled for Baseball’s GNAC Quarterfinal Contest Thursday

BOSTON – Suffolk baseball senior captain Trevor Lee has rescheduled his one-day clothing donation drive for the New England Center and Home for Veterans to this Thursday, May 2 when the Rams begin their quest to chase their fifth consecutive conference crown and host either Lasell or Albertus Magnus in the 2019 GNAC Quarterfinals. First pitch of the clash is scheduled for 7 p.m. at East Boston Memorial Park.

New England Center and Home for Veterans' mission is to equip Veterans who are facing or at-risk of homelessness with the tools for economic self-sufficiency and to provide them a path to achieve successful and dignified independent living.

Fans are encouraged to bring donations of clean, gently used clothing and/or shoes in all sizes for both men and women to the non-conference Sunday showdown with a table set-up behind the backstop to accept the contributions. Those who donate will be entered in a drawing to win a camouflage Suffolk baseball hat.

After the drive is complete, Lee will be volunteering his time at the Center to personally distribute the collected items to veterans.
