RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has picked up the pace in April, winning nine of its last 10, including all six of its GNAC contests, to head into the weekend 13-7 overall and 6-0 against conference competition.

The Rams' offense is in top tier of the league with the third best on-base percentage (.394) and slugging percentage (.404) and fourth highest batting average (.288).

Brady Chant is the one of the main ingredient to Suffolk's success. The junior centerfielder ranks one-two on the team and ranks among the conference best in nearly every category. His 31 hits are second, 18 RBI land sixth and 19 runs coming in seventh. His 13 extra-base hits sit atop the standings with his six triples also leading the way. Chant hits .352, slugging .591 and boasts an on-base percentage of .398. Seth Coiley is the most consistent bat with the sixth-best batting average in the league and a league-leading on-base percentage of .522. The junior left fielder has 10 RBI on 21 hits and 11 runs scored.  Luke Ronchi (.333/.409/.423; 26 H, 16 RBI, 17R), Kevin Belskie (.329/.442/.443; 23 H, 15 RBI, 12R) and Matt Brenner (.265/.432/.382; 18 H, 12 RBI, 17R) add spark to Suffolk's offense.

On the hill, the Rams' staff holds the third highest ERA at 4.16 holding their opponents to the lowest average a .268. Mark Fusco leads the way on the team and conference with an ERA of .078. In 23.0 innings pitched he is 3-2 on the season and unbeaten in his pair of starts, fanning 14 hitters. Ryan Pordes has seen the most experience on the bump this year. The junior holds a 3.44 ERA, good for eighth in the league, with the eighth most strikeouts (23) in the second-most innings of work (34). Chuck Gibson is second on the squad and fourth in the conference with a 2.03 ERA. The senior is undefeated (3-0) this season in 26.2 frames with 18 Ks.
