BOSTON – Suffolk student-athletes went to work over Spring Break and there were some standout performances along the way. Ram Nation helped decide the standout performer through a Twitter poll.
AND THE WINNER IS ….
Jenny Jacob of the Suffolk softball team picked up the Ram of the Week title after grabbing 50 percent of the 78 votes cast.

Jacob, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, put together a 0.77 ERA over 11.2 innings with 18 strikeouts in the circle over March 14-20. At the plate, she hit .400 with two hits in her five plate appearances to go along with one run scored.
The junior's standout showing came in a one-hit, one-walk performance, 13-punchout complete-game performance in a 3-1 victory over SUNY Poly March 16. Her 13 strikeouts marked the most by a Ram since Sarah Chasse fanned 14 in a 3-1 win at Norwich April 15, 2012.

2ND – 33 % - MARC BIRBIGLIA – BASEBALL
Marc Birbiglia barreled a slash line of .350/.500/.500 at the Ripken Experience with seven hits, five RBI and seven runs scored. He swiftly and successfully stole all five bases he attempted to.
3RD – 17 % - MATYAS CSIKI-FEJER – MEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
Matyas Csiki-Fejer became the first Suffolk men's indoor track & field student-athlete to compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships. He was just outside of All-America contention in the 3000 as he finished ninth overall with a time of 8:20.161.
