Barry Earns Four Nods in 2019-20 CoSIDA Publication & Design Contest

2019-20 CoSIDA PUBLICATION & DESIGN CONTEST

BOSTON – Amy Barry, Suffolk University's Sports Information Director, took home four honors in the 2019-20 College of Sports Information Director Association (CoSIDA) Publication & Design Contest as the award winners were announced Thursday as part of this year's #CoSIDA2020 Virtual Convention.

It is the fourth consecutive year that Barry has had her work recognized by the national organization with every CoSIDA member at every level having the opportunity to receive the recognition for his/her work, and is judged by news media/communications professionals who use those publications in their work.

Barry saw two of her creations receive "First in the Nation" honors in the 2018-19 Year in Review, which topped the Online Magazine division, and a volleyball match program that earned the distinction in the Single-Sport Programs category. It is the second straight year that she received a pair of top honors.

She was also recognized with a "Third in the Nation" in the Infographic Athlete/Award Feature for her GNAC Champion graphics for the inaugural GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championships and was second in Fall/Winter/Spring Posters in District 1, which is comprised of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and multiple Canadian provinces, for her 2020 baseball schedule poster.

With the addition of the 2019-20 awards Suffolk now has 19 total honors, all of which belong to Barry over the last four years for her excellence in publications, writing and overall service to the media.
