BOSTON – Suffolk athletics used its Rams Fan Fest event this past Saturday during Suffolk Weekend as a donation drive for Suffolk CARES.
The first-year partnership at the annual event in East Boston saw 235 non-perishable items donated in exchange for Suffolk Athletics swag. The donations received re-stocked the Suffolk CARES Pantry, a resource for Suffolk University students facing food insecurity located at 73 Tremont, 12 Floor.
The initiative at Fan Fest was one of many upcoming community service projects Suffolk Athletics has in store this month with the Real Players Don't Bully social media campaign coming Oct. 14-18 and the Bench Press for Breast Cancer event set for Tuesday, Oct. 19.
